3/3/2014: As I post these slides, I would not want anyone to come away with the idea that I fought a hard fight for these changes. The school asked me (and colleagues Ben Lesser, Russell Chun, Malik Singleton) to improve our data curriculum. This isn't the result of a "fight" that I "won," it is the product of a supportive and collegial faculty that recognizes the important role of data in a journalism program.
